After completing his medical graduation, continued his post-graduation in general surgery in Vijayanagara institute of medical sciences in Bellary. He pursued his interest in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery ahead and got into M.Ch training in the renowned Topiwala national medical college and Nair hospital, Mumbai. During his residency he was exposed to huge number of trauma and significant number of cosmetic surgeries. After the completion of his M.Ch degree he has been working as a consultant plastic surgery. As a consultant plastic surgeon he is not only concentrating on clinical work but has been a good academician. He has published 15 peer reviewed publication both in national and international journals and presented 6 national conference papers. During his working experience he has developed interest in bio medical devices and involved in various projects. He is involved in developing and patenting a novel device for wound closure and for monitoring of free flaps.
