About   Dr. Mahesh E

Dr. Mahesh started his career in Nephrology at Govt. General Hospital, Madras Medical College, Chennai in 1999. He has been with Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, since December 2001, where he has been associated for more than 25 years in various capacities as a teaching faculty and Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician.

Dr. Mahesh is currently serving as Director – Ramaiah Institute of Nephro-Uro Sciences & has been actively involved in training undergraduates and postgraduates in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He has performed more than 700 transplants including high risk cases which includes 9 HIV positive patients. He has vast experience in Hemodialysis and in Chronic Peritoneal Dialysis. He has been instrumental in starting one of the biggest dialysis units in the city of Bengaluru.
