40 years of post-qualification experience in surgery. Have worked for 13 years previously in St. Johns Medical College Hospital as faculty and 26 years for in Ramaiah Medical College Hospitals as Professor. Have obtained training at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai in 1988 in Surgical Oncology. Have obtained training in basic laparoscopy course in 1994. Been awarded fellow by Association of Gastro and Endoscopic surgeons of India in the year 1995.
