Dr. A R Nithin Rao

Dr Nitin Rao A R passed his MBBS from UCMS, Delhi and his MS in general surgery from KMC, Mangalore. He further did a Senior Residency in Cancer Surgery at Safdarjung hospital, Delhi and then moved to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney to obtain a Fellowship in Transplantation surgery. He then worked at Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong as a Clinical tutor in the department of HPB (Liver, Pancreas, Bile ducts & Gallbladder) and Liver transplantation. After working at these institutions with international recognition he moved to India and chose the Ramaiah institutions as his place of choice to work. He has practiced Surgical gastroenterology and HPB surgery at Ramaiah Memorial Hospital since 2005. He has over 43 publications in peer reviewed journals mostly international, and has presented his work across the globe in conferences. He is active in terms of clinical trials and research projects as well.
