The Department of Dermatology & Venereology is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and management of conditions affecting the skin, hair, nails, mucous membranes, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Our speciality addresses both medical and cosmetic concerns, aiming to improve physical health, appearance, and overall quality of life.

We focus on delivering compassionate, patient-centred care, combining advanced diagnostic tools with modern therapeutic interventions. Our multidisciplinary team works closely with internal medicine, infectious disease, plastic surgery, and endocrinology specialists to provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages

Services Available

Diagnostic Services:Skin biopsy, dermoscopy, patch testing, microscopy, blood investigations, Wood’s lamp examination, and advanced STI testing, including PCR.

Medical & Procedural Treatments:Topical and systemic medications, cryotherapy, electrocautery, chemical peels, phototherapy, laser therapy, minor surgical procedures, and intralesional injections.

Preventive Care & Counseling:Sun protection guidance, skin care education, STI prevention, vaccination (HPV, hepatitis B), safe sexual practices, and adolescent reproductive health counselling.

Patient-Centered Approach: Confidential consultations, individualised treatment plans, lifestyle and hygiene advice, and psychosocial support for sensitive conditions.
