Dr. Anupama V Hegde

Dr. Anupama V Hegde has more than 14 years experience in cardiology with 9 years of teaching experience in this institution. She is trained in advanced echocardiography and has performed more than 10000 diagnostic as well as therapeutic cardiac procedures. She is capable of performing primary as well as complex angioplasties. Her special interest lies in management of cardiac disease in women and has started first of its kind state of art “Healthy Heart Clinic for Women”. Her other fields of interest include management of pulmonary hypertension and cardiac problems in patients who have recovered from COVID-19 infection. She has also worked as diabetologist for 6 months before starting her career as cardiologist. She has vast experience in preventive as well as clinical cardiology. She has worked as co-investigator and principal investigator in various Phase II and Phase III clinical trials. She is involved in planning capacity building program at community level for recognition , referral and rehabilitation of patient with cardiac problems
