Dr. Prathima P T

Dr Prathima is a Senior Consultant in Anaesthesiology. She joined the institute in 2000 and has vast UG and PG teaching experience of over 20 years. An efficient, sincere, skilled and hardworking peri-operative physician, she has made a name for herself amidst collegues and patients. She has special interest in Transplant Anaesthesia, Onco anaesthesia, Difficult Airway, Trauma and Pain Management. She has keen interest in simulation based training, and has amalgamated Skills based training into the Interns and Post Graduate training programs. She has organized several Simulation workshops at National and State Level. She has 20 publications in various national and international journals to her credit. She is an invited faculty for various International and National Conferences. She is certified instructor for the resuscitation courses like ATLS BLS, ACLS and ITLS. She continues to be an instructor for various resuscitative courses for medical, paramedical, Community based workers and general public. She has also been a part of the on site Emergency Medical Team for National and International sporting events in the country.
